Order your Abortion paper at affordable prices! There are plenty of reasons why millions of woman of various ages throughout the world have abortions. Abortion is an extremely controversial topic with a lot of people supporting both sides. Many people such as religious fanatics appose the procedure and believe it is the same as murdering a child. Although there is a strong opinion that a fetus in its first 4 weeks of development does not have feelings or the ability to process a thought through it's undeveloped brain.

It has been shown that there is a link between abortions and crime rates throughout North America. Since the legislation of abortion, crime rates have significantly dropped, the reason for this is that a majority of those aborted fetuses would have been born into poverty and thus more likely to become drug users and criminals. Abortion could possibly be responsible for half the drop of crime rates since 11. These statistics have never been proven to the degree of certainty a scientist might demand. However, there is proof that shows states that legalized abortion before 17 had their crime rates drop sooner than others.

Even with those statistics showing the extreme benefits of abortion, some people are still opposed to it because they thing that abortions are immoral because the mother deprives the fetus of a future and is not giving it a chance of life. Another reason why people are against abortion is because they believe the baby can still be adopted and live a full life with parents who want and love him or her. Statistics show that people who are not religious are .5 to 4 times more likely tog et an abortion.

There are lots of reasons why women have abortions, one might be because they are mentally unprepared to raise and care for a young child. They may be too young themselves to look after a baby financially, and having it would end their education. Another reason why young women terminate their pregnancies is because it may be against their religion to have a child in their current situation whate4er it may be. Sometimes people have abortions for more uncommon reasons like the actual baby itself. In Northern Island, abortion is only allowed if doctors agree that the continuation of a pregnancy would put the mothers life at risk, in this case they have up until the 4th week to go through with the procedure. Now with modern technology, a woman can find out almost anything about their un-born child. This means they can find out if the baby has a serious disability, and then the woman can make her choice from there.

Conclusion

Abortion is a very controversial topic which to argue strong point of support must be raised Although I believe in pro-abortion I do see the apposing sides point. There are many reasons why woman vs clinics and they vary with each case. In support of abortion clinics should be widely spread with support groups for those who under went the surgery. Abortion is a serious decision which should not be decided upon without much thought. It also changes a woman's life forever. For whatever reason she went through with it a woman should not be scrutinized against because of a decision she made regarding her own body.

Personal Goals

As a 7 year old working adult I understand the importance of having an education. Working full time and taking care of your family makes it challenging to succeed in a higher education. Educational goals should make it easier to obtain the levels of achievement you want to reach in school. This makes going back to school less stressful and more fun. Having personal goals outs your educational goals in perspective. Understanding your values or choices will help you set your personal goals.

You will experience a stronger drive to achieve if you build goals around what is important to you, like obtaining a higher level of education. I feel that a person really has to be focused in setting and achieving there personal goals. In my experience of trying to set personal goals in the past I found it to be very difficult to succeed at that. The reason for that was because I lacked the focus and the drive to be successful at that task.

One of my personal goals that I want to work on and achieve in as a University of Phoenix student is self-esteem. I've had low self-esteem basically all of my school life. During my early school days, it was difficult for me to focus at the task of learning. My so-called friends would tell me that I wasn't cool enough or the girls would tell me that I wasn't cute enough. It really tore my self-esteem down. One of my teachers once told me that "a positive self-esteem is both a prerequisite and a consequence of academic success." Of course I didn't know what he was talking about or what this even had to do with me. Now that I'm older and more mature, I do understand what he was talking about.

Another personal goal of mine is motivation. Having positive self-esteem helps a person to become motivated. With my low or negative self-esteem I also lacked motivation when I was in school. Since I wasn't cool or cute enough, I wasn't motivated to pursue my education. I want it to please others. I was motivated to please them, but not motivated to gain knowledge. Education at the time was not a priority of mine. With the atmosphere here at U.O.P, that lack of motivation will quickly turn into a rush of motivation.

Achievement is another personal goal. To achieve is to do successfully. I never achieved anything worth while in school, Because of the lack of a positive attitude and motivation. The word achievement also means accomplishment and the University of Phoenix has the resources to help me accomplish my goal. To graduate is my ultimate goal and to be able to have the opportunity to achieve that is truly a blessing.

One of my other personal goals that I want to achieve in is procrastination. People procrastinate because they don't believe in their ability to complete a task or don't believe in themselves in general. I procrastinated a lot in school. Assignments I had to do, I put of until the last minute and still didn't finish them in time. That's something that I want to achieve in breaking while I'm here at this University. It can hinder you in so many ways in your efforts to seek a higher education.

The second to last personal goal of mine is time management. Unlike high school, college requires students to spend much more time studying outside of class. In high school, I could get away with two-hour test preparation time or with writing a research paper in an hour or two. Not so in college. The main reason in managing time is to provide structure to my life and, in turn, piece of mind. So as my time management skills improve I feel that I would have less stressful situations resulting from procrastination here at the University of Phoenix.

My last personal goal is confidence. Confidence is trust, reliance and assurance. I had hardly any confidence in my ability to handle certain subjects which led to me procrastinating. For example, my weakest subject in school (and still is) is math. With me having no confidence no assurance that I can handle and overcome this task, it leads me to failing that subject. To gain confidence is my last personal goal that I want to achieve here at the University of Phoenix.

With my personal goals of achievement in order self-esteem, motivation, achievement, procrastination, time management, and confidence I ‘am ready to take on the challenge of being a student at the University of Phoenix. With my religious beliefs, morals, and values intact, I ‘am excited about conquering my fears about school and achieving my ultimate goal which is graduation.

Please note that this sample paper on Personal Goals is for your review only. In order to eliminate any of the plagiarism issues, it is highly recommended that you do not use it for you own writing purposes. In case you experience difficulties with writing a well structured and accurately composed paper on Personal Goals, we are here to assist you. Your persuasive essay on Personal Goals will be written from scratch, so you do not have to worry about its originality.

T cells are a subset of lymphocytes that play a large role in the primary immune response. These cells exhibit phenotypic and/or functional heterogeneity [1].

Phenotypic heterogeneity arises from the expression of different markers on the cell surface. There are two well-defined subpopulations of T cells, namely T helper (Th) and T cytotoxic (Tc) cells, both of which express one or the other of two membrane glycoprotein molecules CD4 and CD8. T cells that express CD4 i.e. Th can only recognise antigen bound to class II MHC molecules, whereas T cells expressing CD8 (Tc) are restricted to recognition of antigen bound to class I MHC molecule.

The differences in phenotypes of the T cell results in differences in function. Within the T helper cells are two distinct kinds, Th1 and Th cells. Just like all T cells, these mature in the thymus but are only produced when T cells encounter dendritic cells, which present antigen to the TCR. Th1 and Th cells are produced when DC1 and DC types dentritic cells present antigen to the TCR respectively (figure 1). The generation of an immune response both humoral by B cells and cell-mediated by Tc cells (CD8+) depends on the activation of Th cells. Th1 subset produces great amounts of IL- and IFN gamma; cytokines particularly important in cell mediated immunity. The Th subset is very good at providing B cell help by secreting IL-4,-5 and 6. The molecular basis for Th1- and Th-specific gene expression remains to be elucidated. However it has been found that Th cells express the GATA- gene whereas Th1 cells do not [].

The main role of the cytotoxic T cell, as the name suggests, is to kill other cells. The requirement for MHC class I on the target cell means that the Tc cell is very important in recognizing and destroying self-cells that have been altered or infected. The Tc cell must first become activated and mature into a cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL). These CTLs express on their surface molecules of a transmenbrane protein called the Fas Ligand. This is useful in ‘killing' most potential CTL targets as they express Fas (receptor for FasL) on their cell surface.

The T cell receptor made up of different heterodimers also contributes to phenotypic heterogeneity. The T cell receptors composed of and polypeptide chains can directly recognise antigens in the form of intact proteins or non-peptide compounds while those made up of and recognise antigens bound to MHC molecules. About 5% of peripheral blood T cells bear TCRs, most of which recognise non-peptide phosphorylated antigens []. TCRs and TCRs are both a result of rearranging gene segments. The chain is encoded by V, J and C segments. The chain is encoded by V, D, J and C gene segments. So rearrangement of the TCR and chain gene segments results in VJ joining for the chain and VDJ joining for the chain. Several mechanisms operate during TCR gene rearrangement and thus creating a high degree of diversity among T cell receptors. Figure shows the TCR, which the mature cytotoxic T lymphocytes express and figure compares the TCR and TCR.

In my life, diversity plays a very important role. Ever since I was in third grade, I can remember wanting to be different than everyone else in my class, and I still feel to this day it is important to be "me". My definition of DIVERSITY is the variety of having different characteristics to a single human being. It may sound a little wordy so I am going to break it down. What I am implying is that people come from different places in the world which allows them to become accustom to their own cultures. This usually allows each individual to be different. They could look different, dress different, eat different food, talk different, listen to different kinds of music, etc, etc, etc. Personally, I enjoy living on a "diverse campus" because it allows me to learn about other people's lifestyles and cultures.

The reading that I chose to write about was Miss America Contest Proves Diverse. The article addressed that The Miss America Pageant will be held next weekend, and was talking about how diverse the competition was going to be this year. Miss Alaska is an Inupiaq Eskimo, Miss South Dakota is a Lakota Sioux and Miss Delaware is of Indian decent. The pageant will also include six African Americans, and the show will be emceed by an African American for the first time in the pageant's history. They stated that "This multiculturalism is a recent development for an event that for more than thirty years excluded minorities of any kind", which proves to be true with the fact supporting that in 150, rule number seven in the contestant contracted stated that the contestants who were going to be involved with the pageant had to be in good health and be white. The article goes on to explain that when the pageant first started, city firefighters were to chauffeur contestants around town. The African American firemen/women were not allowed to do this procedure simply because they were not of the white race. In 158, the trend broke and African Americans were allowed to participate in the pageant and chauffeur the contestants around. In 170, Cheryl Browne of Iowa was the first African American to be crowned Miss America.

Order your Individual Rights and Responsibilities in the American Legal System paper at affordable prices with cheap essay writing service! An individual has quite a few rights when in court. One right is that everyone is entitled to a lawyer and a fair trial as seen in Gideons Trumpet when Gideon gets convicted of robbing money from the pool house he soon goes to trial after that. At first, he cannot afford to pay for a lawyer so he defends himself. A person in court can also choose to defend themselves in court if they feel that they do not need a lawyer to defend them. Another right an individual has while in court is to be appointed to a local lawyer that can represent them in court. If you cannot afford a lawyer and also do not want to represent yourself then you can represent yourself.

In court, the responsibility of an individual is to behave properly and not to yell or scream at the judge. If someone is brought up to the witness stand, then their responsibility is to tell the truth and not lie. Showing up to court especially if youre the judge, part of the jury, or the defendant /complaintif is definately the responsibility of those individuals. Not fulfilling responsibilities in court can affect whether or not a person is able to be proven innocent.

If an individual does not fulfill his or her responsibility even if it wasnt intentional then theres a good chance that they can be penalized to being guilty even if they werent guilty. For example, if a lawyer dosent have evidence at court then they messed up pretty bad in their responsibility to defend their client in court because most likely they will not win the case without evidence. In this case the lawyer would probably be fired since there was no point for him/her if they were going to mess up so badly.

The ultimate value of the American legal system presented is that everyone is entitled to a fair trial and to be represented by a lawyer. This is truly the ultimate value because without this right then a lot of people would not have been able to be proven innocent. Not everyone can afford a lawyer or afford to have a trial but with this right they are guaranteed to having those two things.

Help with essay on Individual Rights and Responsibilities in the American Legal System

These movies do effectively communicate this value in both movies. The boy in Twelve Angry Men was able to have a trial to see if he did in fact kill his father or not. He was entitled to a trial therefore, he was able to be proven innocent. In Gideons Trumpet, Gideon was able to have a trial twice but a lawyer once. Like the boy in Twelve Angry Men, Gideon also proved that he was innocent. Of course not everyone that is entitled to a trial is proven innocent but if someone is convicted then they have the opportunity to prove that they indeed are innocent.

Do you hate school? I know I hate it. For me, it can become very boring. Having been in school for 10 years I know a few things that you can do to spice-up the long days at school. Making your teacher hate you will make school twice as fun as it was before. It will probably get you suspended and make your fail the grade, but it will certainly be worth it. The three things you need to do to destroy a student teacher relationship are to be disrespectful to the teacher, coming to class unprepared and to act stupid in the classroom.

The first step in destroying a student-teacher relationship is to be disrespectful to the teacher. Be sure to come to class 10 minutes late, and bang on the door franticly. When the teacher asks you why you are late be sure to give her the stupidest excuse you can think of. This reaction will surly aggravate her. As class resumes be sure to talk loudly to your classmates when the teacher is giving instructions for the lesson. As she yells at you make sure you deny ever talking and tell her that she is losing her mind. When the teacher tells you to go to the office, (and this is guaranteed to happen) remember to swear loudly as you slowly open the door. As you leave slam the door as hard as you can. This will "put the icing on the cake".

The second step in destroying a student-teacher relationship is by coming to class unprepared. Be sure that you never bring your books to class. As the teacher asks your were they are, quickly steal someone else's. The teacher will then yell at you and tell you to return the stolen books to the rightful owner. As the class gets to work, ask the class loudly if the have a pen or a piece of paper that you can borrow. Then tell the teacher that it's her fault that you do not have a pen. when the class hands in their homework, tell the teacher that your dog ate your work ,, and that she should extend the due date or you will tell the principal that she is favoring the certain classmates. This will make her hate you immensely.

Custom writing service can write essays on how to destroy a student teacher relationship

Finally the key to destroying a student-teacher relationship is to act stupid in class. Make sure when you are in class you don't do any work, and when the teacher asks why, tell her that you don't know how to do that work and that its to complicated for your grade level. When you receive projects be sure to openly plagiarize everything. This will cause her to yell at you and give you a zero. When you do tests and quizzes write only your name on all of them, and then hand them in. if you really want to get the pissed, rip up all tests and quizzes into tiny pieces and then proceed to throw all the pieces onto the floor. Be sure to refuse to clean it up when she yells at you. When you refuse there will be consequences, but it will certainly be worth the punishment.

Ultimately one can easily destroy a student-teacher relationship by being disrespectful, coming to class unprepared and by acting stupid while in class. After destroying your relationship with your teacher you will soon realize that it was actually worth it. As you destroy this relationship you will have fun and you will be the talk of the school. After destroying this relationship you to will be able to train other classmates on how to have some fun while attending school. Now that you know how to destroy this relationship you will like school more than ever, and you will have twice as much fun. Enjoy school now that you have the know-how to have some real fun.

Please note that this sample paper on how to destroy a student teacher relationship is for your review only. In order to eliminate any of the plagiarism issues, it is highly recommended that you do not use it for you own writing purposes. Briefing

Facts- In ‘Gaglia v. Kirchner', Charles A. Gaglia, Jr. is the Plaintiff-Appellant and Robert P. Kirchner and Rosemary Kirchner were the Defendants-Respondents. This case is an appeal case decided by the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, A-1165-7T1. The case started being argued November 4,18 and decided on January 14, 1. Plaintiff contracted with defendant to buy their house. Defendants argue that the contract had been void according to its attorney review section before the sale had been carried out. The plaintiff alleges that defendant had committed "both common law fraud and violations of the Consumer Fraud Act" (17 N. J. Super. ). The court of equity granted defendants' order for "summary judgment" letting go of the plaintiff's complaint. In late spring of 17 plaintiff began to look for a house available in the area of Wayne, NJ. He asked realtor Francine Elmo, employee of Caldwell Banker Realtors to help him with his search. Mr. Elmo knew the defendants were offering their home for sale and she thought that it might be what the plaintiff is looking for. Defendants' asking price was $750,000. Plaintiff wanted to purchase the house for $700,000, but the offer was refused. On May 1, 17 plaintiff asked Ms. Elmo to tell defendant that he was about to sign a contract to buy a different house and asked if defendant could accept the $700,000 offer. Plaintiff reached an agreement with the seller of the other house but continued to negotiate in terms of a contract. On June 5th defendant was ready to accept his $700,000 offer. Plaintiff requested that defendant would sign a contract that promised expressly they would honor the offer and see it through closing. The contract was signed on June 7, 17.

Having signed the contract, plaintiff canceled his negotiations to buy the other house. The attorney review section read, "Buyer or Seller may choose to have an attorney study this contract. If an attorney is consulted, the attorney must complete his or her review of the contract within a three () day period. This contract will be legally binding at the end of this three () day period unless an attorney for Buyer or Seller reviews and disapproves of this Contract." Defendant's attorney disapproved the contract in its [then] present form. On Monday June 16, 17 Defendants' attorney sent a letter to Plaintiff's attorney stating, "My clients do not with to pursue this matter anymore with your clients. The contracts shall be considered void, and this letter shall act as authorization to have the broker return any deposits that may have been made." Later the same day defendant decided they could probably get a better offer and opened their house to interested house-buyers over the weekend. That weekend the defendant accepted the best offer they could get. This suit was filed just days later, on June , 17.

Cheap University Papers on Gaglia v. Kirchner:Briefing

Issues- 1) Whether the defendant committed common law fraud and violated the Consumer Fraud Act?

) Whether plaintiff reasonably made a detriment on anything the defendant said or did after they received the June 10th letter?

Holdings- 1) No ) No

Reasoning- 1) Defendants did not commit common law fraud or violate the Consumer Fraud Act. Defendants were free to show and sell their house to another party after June 10 because their contract with Plaintiff had been terminated either by "a valid exercise or the attorney review provision or by their acceptance of his anticipatory breach."

) There is no evidence that Plaintiff reasonably relied to his detriment on anything the defendant said or did after they received the June 10 letter. After defendant's attorney's receipt of Plaintiff's attorney's disapproval letter, "they did not have a binding contract and would not have one unless and until the prospective buyer and sellers all agreed in writing identical terms." Showing their house to possible buyers after June 10 was therefore "not inconsistent with the assurances the Kirchners [defendants] had given Mr. Gaglia [Plaintiff] and Ms. Elmo to honor their contract." This conflict of interest could have been avoided if the language of both attorneys was precatory. In Kutzin v. Pirnie [14 N.J. 500] "Neither [attorney] conditioned the viability of the contract on the acceptance of his proposals." In that case, the letters "did not terminate the contract either by repudiation or by the effective exercise of its attorney review provision."

Censorship Essay

Censor means to examine in order to suppress or delete any object that may seem objectionable. I believe censorship is wrong because certain materials may not be objectionable to some people. Censorship is used in radio and television to prevent the corruption of people's minds. Censorship is wrong because individuals should have the freedom to listen or watch what they want, whether or not it offends some, without interference.

The television is one place where censorship is strongly used in many different ways. One of the oldest and most common ways used to censor inappropriate words is to use a "bleep." I disagree with this method because whatever these people are saying is just words. Remember the saying "sticks and stone may break my bones but words will never hurt me?" These words will not harm anyone and if people are offended they don't have to listen. Another popular method of censoring television is to cit out scenes. TV stations will cut out a certain scene or scenes from a movie or television. I disagree with this method because it changes the way that the producer of these shows or movies intended them to be. If TV stations plan on cutting out scenes they should not air the show or movie at all. One last method of censorship commonly used in television is rating labels. Again, this is a method of censorship I disagree with. Although these ratings allow parents to protect their children from bad things, if a show is on TV it should be viewable by all audiences. Also most things being censored will be seen by most people in their lives anyway. Censorship in TV is a bad thing and should be reconsidered.

The music industry is a place where people experience censorship. One form of censorship in music is to play and edited version of a song. While this method filters out some harmful words, I think this is bad because it changes the musicians original song. This censoring takes out parts of the song he intended to be there. I think the radio shouldn't play these edited version, but play unedited version. Another popular method of censorship is to put parent advisory labels on CD's. These labels are bad because they don't allow underage people to buy certain CD's. Why should these underage people not be able to listen to bad words or inappropriate themes if it is part of real life. The government is trying to put a blanket over children's eyes until they get older. They want to brainwash the children so they will stop corruption in the world . One last way music is censored, just like television, is using "bleeps". These bleeps are terrible, annoying, and useless. They ruin songs that you are listening to. Who wants to sit and listen to a song littered with "bleeps", because I sure don't! If people don't want to hear "bad" words they should buy country music, and leave the rest of the world alone.

Buy Censorship term paper

Censorship is a terrible thing and it should be outlawed at some point. The government should stop trying to control the way the U.S. citizens live and focus on more important issues like the war in Afghanistan. DANIELLE It all started one day close to the end of my junior year in high school. I sat close to the back of the room in my Geometry class so not to be bothered. About three minutes after the late bell had rang someone walked through the door. At first I did not recognize her, but when she turned around I knew whom she was. Her name was Erin Danielle Wiley, and somehow she was different. She still had the same soft red hair, and the same dark green eyes. I found myself starring at her intensely. Once she noticed that I was starring at her she turned with a bewildered look on her face, and asked me what I was doing. I came out of my daze and, said sorry. We started talking a bit and, before I knew it we were together all of the time.

Our relationship started from there. We were never separated the whole summer. Every day we went fishing, swimming, or just hung out. One evening while sitting at my house watching television when Danielle looked at me very seriously, and asked me "could you see us spending the rest of our lives together"? There was a long silence before realizing that she was serious. I tried to answer her honestly, and with a regretful tone said "most high school loves don't last, but I hope I'm wrong". With that said that was all I thought about for the next few days. One night lying in bed I asked her if she remembered what she asked me, she said "yes, why". I simply said, "Yes I could see us spending the rest of our lives together. That was the first night we were ever intimate.

After the summer when school started back I was a senior and Danielle was a junior. We loved each other as much as ever if not more. A particular turn of events made us decide to see what it would be like to be apart. Needless to say it only lasted for about half a day.

On Sunday Sep. , 01 I had just gotten off of work when my phone rang. It was Danielle seeing if I was going to make it to her house that evening. I sighed, and said that I was pretty tired she said "that's all right I'll come see you". So Danielle came over, and we watched a few movies. Afterwards we sat, and talked for a while. It was almost as a tear came to her eye when she took my ring off of her finger and gave it back to me. She said that it was hurting her finger and that I should take it back for a while, and then calmly said it was time to go. We said we loved each other and kissed goodbye.

The very next day Sep.10, 01 started as a normal day. My little sister woke me up, and got me dressed then I drove her to school. I walked towards Danielle's locker, but could see that she had not med it to school yet. Her best friend, "Leah" was talking seriously to some of her other friends. When I made it over their Leah said four words that are burnt into my memory "Danielle had a wreck". My ears went def to all of the noise around me. We ran to my truck jumped in and never looked back. As soon as we pulled out of the parking lot we could see blue lights flashing all around us. We pulled near the wreck and the front end of her car was gone. It felt like a bad dream that I could not wake up from. As we got out of the vehicle I could see the EMT's hovered around someone. Then I saw her lying on the ground beside the road.

I knelt down beside her and felt the glass crunch, and stab in me, yet I never flinched. When I took her hand she opened her eyes, and tried to sit up. I placed my hand on her shoulder, and told her to be still, and that I loved her. From that moment Danielle never moved again. I sat back, put my blood-covered hands over my face, and started to cry. The ambulance came and picked her up and rushed her to the ER.

One the way to the hospital we turned on the radio and Danielle's favorite song had just started playing, outside by Stained. When I looked at the clock it said 11 a.m. After reaching the hospital I spoke with her mother and she said she "didn't make it". I made them take me inside to say a few final words. I told her that I loved her and always will.

Two days later we had the burial. Afterwards I went to Danielle's house, sat in her room and looked around. Her mother came in to comfort me, and told me something I will never forget. She said that "God must have needed another angle for September 11" I just happened to be holding the death certificate, and it said "borne March , 84"and " died September 10, 01 at 11 am.

Danielle was the love of my life but I guess someone needed her a little more than me.

Breaker Morant

If you order your Cheap Custom Essays from our custom writing service you will receive a perfectly written assignment on Breaker Morant. What we need from you is to provide us with your detailed paper instructions for our experienced writers to follow all of your specific writing requirements. Specify your order details, state the exact number of pages required and our custom writing professionals will deliver the best quality Breaker Morant paper right on time.

Our staff of freelance writers includes over 120 experts proficient in Breaker Morant, therefore you can rest assured that your assignment will be handled by only top rated specialists. Order your Breaker Morant paper at affordable prices with cheap essay writing service! In the movie, Breaker Morant Lord Kitchener is as guilty as war crimes as Morant, Handcock, and Witton. Morant, Handcock and Witton are all found guilty of war crimes, for killing many men without having a fair trail and making sure that they were killing these men for the right reason.

These men were placed on trail because of the war crimes they had committed. Once Germans found out that one of their missionary's were killed, Lord Kitchener was fearful that they would enter the war causing more death, so they put the men on trail for the murder of the missionary.

Harry ‘Breaker' Morant was found guilty for killing a Boer prisoner. The Boer that he had killed by his soldiers was the man he believes to have killed his to be brother-in-law and a close friend, Captain Hunt. Morant made his felling quiet clear to the audience when he made a remark after something Witton had said. Witton asked him if he killed the prisoner out of pure revenge and anger, Morant said maybe I did, who knows. Morant knew what he was doing was the wrong thing but he wanted Captain Hunts death revenged.

Peter Handcock was also apart of these war crimes he was put on trail for killing a German missionary who Breaker believed had been talking to the prisoners and was going to tell the Germans how the Boers were treated. Handcock also killed prisoners in cold blood for no reason, expect for, those were the orders that they had been given.

Witton was another who was found guilty of killing a prisoner who was about to attack him. The prisoner went for Witton when he had his back turned and when Handcock yelled out he turned around and shot the prisoner in the stomach. Unfortunately, for Witton he killed the prisoner but it was either Witton life or the prisoners.

Lord Kitchener was never found guilty of war crimes but made it obviously that he was a large part of the death of these men. Lord Kitchener killed two men, Morant and Handcock. Although he did not shot them himself, he had them shot just as Morant did to the prisoners he was convicted of killing. These three men did not get a fair trail and yet two of them were killed for their actions. These men did not get a fair trail and yet they still were killed, did Lord Kitchener get away with this unfair act because he was the head of the army? Kitchener should have been put on trail for his actions; although at least these three men got a trail, they did not get a fair trail as some may argue.

In conclusion all these men Kitchener, Morant and Handcock were all apart of war crimes and committing them, so why should two died but one survive? As was said before these men were put on trail for the murder of the missionary the army wanted to make it look like they had paid for what they had done, but the ironic part of the movie is, is that the one murder they were put on trail for they were acquitted of. Which only leaves one explanation of why Handcock was killed and that is, he killed prisoners without giving them a fair trail and if that is the case then Kitchener should be shot for killing prisoners without a fair trail.

Research has become a major factor in my life both on the job and at school. The first college experience I had was in 18 at DeVry Institute of Technology. It was imperative in the college life to utilize all the resources available in order to succeed. At this point in time, a person begins to understand and use the research tools available such as the Internet, periodicals, journals, etc. The first papers presented to me were the worst in regards to getting to know how to use the library and Internet. I had never been exposed to this level of research in high school. The struggle was great and the feeling of defeat was really weighing because of the lack of knowledge. Throughout the time spent at DeVry, my researching skills advanced. Learning how to spend quality time on the given topic has developed a personal style for me. The process has familiarize me with the library and all of the many resources available, various Internet sites such as websites dealing with writing styles, online business information, surveys available for various topics. I must admit the key words are discipline and the desire to learn.

Life is divided in multiple sections for me such as church, personal goals and job. Let's began with church. I work as the church secretary, which involves a lot of researching. At the current time grant writing is one of the major goals of the organization. The grant writing process is very detailed and time consuming. For instance, developing a plan for a youth development center, research has to be done on the need of this type of organization in the surrounding community. During the process of gathering information the internet was the most widely used tool. The Internet provided all the statistical data on Columbus residents and also information on programs similar to the one planned by our organization. Also utilized was the United Way organization that has a library of books on grant writing and proposal writing.

The personal goal in view is to own my own group home. I have used personal interviews as a major research tool. The target person to interview is a young troubled female who show signs of problematic lifestyles.

Lastly on the list is on the job. I used various databases, web-based software, and books to perform research at work. The tools utilized at work are CIRF, XNET, PROCLAIJM, CED, ICARE, IVIEW and the Internet. CIRF is a database, which includes a collection of documents to help answer customer questions. CIRF is structured in an outline format where you can search for different answers. Working in the insurance field involves so many different scenarios that you have to incorporate a database so that the customer service representative can keep call volume down while answer questions accurately and effectively. XNET is a web-based application that stores all the electrical health claims sent in by providers or members. XNET allows you to look at the actual claim while discussing payment with the provider that is looking for payment or the policyholder of the plan. PROCLAIM is a legacy system, which houses all the eligibility of the policyholders. It allows you to see a list of members under the plan and also allows you to see plan specific information. CED is another legacy system, which also houses eligibility information similar to PROCLAIM. When information is not found in one, it is usually found in the other. ICARE is a graphical user interface that the CED and PROCLAIM uploads eligibility and claim information into. It provides as a call tracking system for customer services representatives. ICARE allows you to see all the previous calls made by the member and the claims that have been paid or denied. Finally, Cigna has a website that serves both members and providers. This website provides them access to claim and eligibility information. Seldom do we use this type of research tool, however it can be helpful. An online provider directory is often used to see is a provider is participation with our insurance company or not. All research tools used on the job help with finding the answer to questions otherwise not know. It involves intensive researching at times and does contribute to enhancing methods of researching for school.

Plant Hormones are any of various hormones produced by plants that control or regulate germination, growth, metabolism, or other physiological activities. Also called phytohormone.

There are many different types of plant hormones, such as; Auxins, Giberellins, Ethylene, Cytokinetins, Florigen, and Abscisic acid.

The fucnctions and description of Abscisic acid follows.

Stimulates the closure of stomata (water stress brings about an increase in ABA synthesis). It inhibits shoot growth but will not have as much affect on roots or it might even promote growth of roots. Induces seeds to synthesize storage proteins.

Inhibits the affect of gibberellins on stimulating de novo synthesis of a-amylase. Has some effect on induction and maintanance of dormancy. Induces gene transcription especially for proteinase inhibitors in response to wounding which may explain an apparent role in pathogen defense.

The functions of Auxins are Stimulates cell elongation,

stimulates cell division in the cambium and, in combination with cytokinins in tissue culture, stimulates differentiation of phloem and xylem, stimulates root initiation on stem cuttings and lateral root development in tissue culture, mediates the tropistic response of bending in response to gravity and light.

The auxin supply from the apical bud suppresses growth of lateral buds, delays leaf senescence. Can inhibit or promote (via ethylene stimulation) leaf and fruit abscission. It Can induce fruit setting and growth in some plants. Involved in assimilate movement toward auxin by an effect on phloem transport. It Delays fruit ripening, promotes flowering in Bromeliads, stimulates growth of flower parts, promotes femaleness in dioecious flowers, and stimulates the production of ethylene at high concentrations.

The function of Cytokinetins are stimulates cell division.

Stimulates morphogenesis in tissue culture. Stimulates the growth of lateral buds-release of apical dominance. Stimulates leaf expansion resulting from cell enlargement. May enhance stomatal opening in some species. Promotes the conversion of etioplasts into chloroplasts via stimulation of chlorophyll synthesis.

The function of Giberellins are stimulate stem elongation by stimulating cell division and elongation. Stimulates bolting/flowering in response to long days. Breaks seed dormancy in some plants which require stratification or light to induce germination. Stimulates enzyme production (a-amylase) in germinating cereal grains for mobilization of seed reserves.

Induces maleness in dioecious flowers. Can cause seedless fruit development. Can delay senescence in leaves and citrus fruits.

The function of Ethylene are Stimulates the release of dormancy. Stimulates shoot and root growth and differentiation.

May have a role in adventitious root formation. Stimulates leaf and fruit abscission. Stimulates Bromiliad flower induction.

Induction of femaleness in dioecious flowers. Stimulates flower opening. Stimulates flower and leaf senescence. Stimulates fruit ripening.

There is not much known of Florigen. Some do not believe it really exists. Others say that it induces flowering.

Since my time in school I have always known that science and technology was the direction I would take in my studies. It was a fascination that still carries on with me to this day. In my first chemistry class in high school I became conscious of the feeling that chemistry was something I really enjoyed. Since that time I have been down many paths that have led me back to the field of chemistry.

The first chemistry course I took in high school was much like any other class. It was not too involved and was geared toward learning the basics. However, I did well and was given the opportunity to take an AP chemistry course, which I lunged at taking. The instructor, Mr. Miller, tasked us with choosing a topic to research throughout the semester, in addition to regular coursework. This was my first real introduction into research. I enjoyed going to the local universities and spending time looking through all the material.

Additionally, I wanted to be a pilot for the United States Air Force. The appeal of flight to me was great, and I spent much of my time devoted to becoming a pilot. Through much physical and mental preparation I made it into the United States Air Force Academy. My dream of becoming a pilot was well on its way. I had gone through glider training and soloed in my first aircraft. I also still had a fondness for science and opted for the science and engineering track of courses offered at the Academy. However, after two years there I learned that I would not become a pilot after all. My vision was not up to Air Force standards. It was a demoralizing setback, but one I knew I could overcome. I left the Academy and returned to my hometown school, the University of Texas Austin.

My first semester at UTA was a difficult semester during which I did not know what I wanted to do any more. I knew I liked chemistry but I wasnt sure it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. The military had taught me to persevere in times of adversity, so I stuck with the chemistry program. The chemistry department at UTA took me in and showed me what chemistry was all about. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in labs performing experiments and learning the basics of chemistry. However, I needed more than laid out lab experiments from the books. This motivated me to seek an opportunity to perform research with Dr. John Rove. After speaking with him, he offered me a position in his group doing research on decomposition mechanisms of electro-optic dyes. Taking him up on his offer was likely the turning point in my education as an undergraduate chemist. If not for his personal guidance and help, I doubt I would be where I am today a young chemist with motivation and a love for chemistry.

Custom writing service can write essays on Hinduism / Buddhism compare contrast essay

The research I performed involved finding suitable organic dyes for electro-optic modulators. After gaining some experience in the lab and conducting long hours of research, I was able to present my research at American Chemical Society regional and national meetings. Networking with other chemists and seeing their research allowed me to see the full value of the courses Ive taken as an undergraduate. It was also during this time I decided to make chemistry a career.

When I completed my bachelors degree I had a two year commitment in the US Air Force which I am currently close to completing. My time in the Air Force as an intelligence analyst has given me real world experience which I know I will need in the future. Completing tasks while communicating with many different people in extremely time sensitive situations has provided me with skills that no book or classroom can offer.

I think that my coursework and undergraduate research experience at the University of Texas at Austin have provided me with the foundation for further study as a graduate student. While interested in broad ranges of topics in chemistry, I am partial to inorganic and materials chemistry. My next goal is to attain a PhD in chemistry. I know I am ready to put forth the time and effort to obtain this goal.

I believe that the University of Texas at San Antonio has the resources to allow me to accomplish my goals. Perseverance, determination, and hard work are the keys to being a successful graduate student and I am ready and willing to conquer this challenge. These traits will not only help me in my graduate studies but will carry on in my goals to be a successful student and chemist.

During the time of Shakespeare, the funeral ceremonies came from the Roman Catholic Church burial customs that had been around for many centuries. These ceremonies at the grave usually took several hours. In funeral processions, it was customary for a crucifix to be carried by the priest before the corpse. In some cases a cross was used in place of the crucifix because of certain religious feelings. It was ancient custom to crown the deceased with white flowers. These flowers were strewn on the corpse, and the crown or garlands were then places on the coffin. When a maiden died, it was custom to hang garlands tied with white ribbons over her grave. Some rural areas of England still to this day practice this custom. Depending on the time of year, if natural flowers were not available, evergreens and artificial garlands were used. The garlands were very important in the ceremony. The priest carried them before the corpse, as did several maidens dressed in white, and then the garlands were placed upon the grave after the burial. Flowers were continuously thrown out throughout the ceremony. When the coffin was open, flowers were strewn upon the deceased. Then, when the coffin was lowered, flowers are thrown upon it and then placed on top of the grave at the end. The Roman Catholic Church, who got it from another ancient custom, used the custom of strewing flowers upon the graves of the departed. The process of the scattering of the flowers upon the grave is shown in Shakespeare's Hamlet. When the Queen spreads flowers over Ophelia she says, "Sweets to the sweet, farewell, /I hoped thou shouldst have been my Hamlet's wife/ I thought thy bride bed to have decked, sweet maid, /And not to have strewed thy grave." After a person passed, it was an old church custom for the church bell to be rung no more than one short peal, and one more before the burial to call the assembly together, and then one last one after the burial.

This is an explanation of Chapter 6 to the book of Tooth and Nail. It was a required reading for my county this year and I am sorry that I couldnt give you the information on Socrates.

Socrates Life and Times....coming soon. This essay will include government, his ideas and thoughts, and the way that he lived his life. It will most likely include a section about Plato, his follower throughout history, but I am not quite sure as to yet. This will be updated by the 6th of September if I can make it available to you. This is when the assignment is due. If you come up with any information, please post it. The essay will be in modern 10th grade vocabulary, though it may be a little advanced. I hope that I am articulate in the way that I explain Socrates to you. I am sorry that I cannot have the essay available now and I thank you for your time and patience. Good luck with your next essay on Socarates, I hope that I can help.

Leo has a confrontation with Teddy Prospero, the owner of the rare book collection's grandson.

Cheap University Papers on Coming soon on Socarates

The problem between Leo and Teddy is that E. A. Prospero left Leo to be one of the executor's of his collection of books and left his own grandson nothing.

E. A. Prospero might be considered a "Renaissance Man" because he lived through most of the exciting parts of the early 100's. He had been through practically everything, and though he lived as in modern times, reflected that nature in his everyday knowledge.

E. A. Prospero earned a scholarship to Holyfield, was in the army, received his doctorate from Yale, made a small fortune off of selling his business before the depression, and lived a modest life.

Professor Hargrave may show some animosity towards professor Prospero because of the "illuminated manuscript" that Prospero had forged. It caused a dent in Hargrave's career when he published an article about it.

The boys are planning on heading to see Romeo and Juliet at the end of the chapter, but they only have ten minutes to get there from the dining hall.

The significance of the title of this chapter is that it speaks of the "Prospero Enigma." Most of the chapter is spent trying to explain what is possible to understand about E. A. Prospero. He is a riddle in himself.

Subject matter

The title tells you that the poem is a Valentine - a gift of love - but straight away, the poem makes it clear that it is not a normal type of Valentine Not a red rose or a satin heart.

She gives her lover an onion as a sign of her love and the promised light that they could share.

She explains why the gift is so apt, using original romantic images.

Custom Essays on Valentine by Carol Ann Duffy a summmary

She adds a note of caution - too much commitment could kill off their relationship (love can be lethal).

Language

If you look closely at the way language is used in the poem, you might notice

The poet uses an extended metaphor she writes about her relationship as if it was an onion. Look at these ideas It will blind you with tears. (Relationships may cause people to be hurt.) Its platinum hoops shrink to a wedding ring. (An onion is platinum-coloured and is made up of rings.) Read the poem carefully and make a list of all the other aspects of an onion she highlights which can be compared to a love affair. Compare your thoughts to the ideas suggested in the Test Bite.

Otherwise, her language and vocabulary is very simple - perhaps to suggest that she wants a simple, uncomplicated love.

She makes statements. I give you an onion. It will blind you with tears...I am trying to be truthful. Look at these and other statements. They make the poet sound definite and authoritative.

Sound

There is no rhyme in the poem, and most of the poem sounds as if the lines are natural and spontaneous, being written down by the poet as they come to her. However, some of the sounds are carefully arranged. Consider these

Its fierce kiss will stay on your lips. An onion has a fierce, tangy taste, just as a passionate lover has a fierce kiss. The s sounds may suggest a sinister mood, or may even sound like a couple kissing.

Why do you think that the poet repeats I give you an onion? Is it to reinforce, perhaps, that this is not a joke? That she really is giving the person an onion, and really means it!

Form

The poem does not have a regular form. The lines and stanzas are of irregular length. This could be for a number of reasons

It suggests that love cannot be ordered and regular.

It suggests that her thoughts are going directly onto the paper, unshaped, giving a kind of urgency.

Traditional love poems are often very regular and may even rhyme her decision not to conform to this stereotype is further proof that her love goes beyond the ordinary and so is that much more special.

Some words have a line to themselves. Look at them carefully and decide why these words need so much emphasis.

Ideas and attitudes

Read the poem again carefully and see if you can judge the attitude the poet has towards

Typical Valentines gifts (and the people who send them)

Her lover

Marriage/commitment

You need to decide whether the poet is

Suggesting typical Valentines gifts are insubstantial and untruthful.

Telling us that her love is not ordinary love. Maybe she feels that her love is special, which is why she honours her Valentine with such an original, unusual gift. She does not want to be one of the crowd, because her lover is not just one of the crowd to her.

Wary of marriage and commitment, which is why she uses such violent images at the end of the poem.

You may decide that all these feelings are present in the poem. Which do you think is the most important?

Historical Aspect of Missions

What we need from you is to provide us with your detailed paper instructions for our experienced writers to follow all of your specific writing requirements. Our staff of freelance writers includes over 120 experts proficient in Historical Aspect of Missions, therefore you can rest assured that your assignment will be handled by only top rated specialists. Order your Historical Aspect of Missions paper at affordable prices with cheap essay writing service! Before I started this Introduction to Missions class, my feelings on missions were just pretty basic. I have been to Trinidad and Tobago and Brazil on mission trips. And I have always loved missions because I am a person that has a great, big heart for those that are out there in the world and are not as fortunate as we are to know Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. And for those who are not able to provide for themselves or their family. To me, being a missionary was just that, having compassion and the heart for the people.

Now that I have started this mission's class, my feelings have just changed. But they have changed for the better. I now truly understand what it is to be a missionary. And just being able to see what percent of our world hears the gospel and those that do not. It is just so amazing to find out those that have not heard the gospel of Christ. A scripture that I saw on the Biblical Perspective of Missions notes that stuck with me is "How shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?" (Romans 1014-15). That scripture just really hit me hard because it is so true. How are they supposed to know about God if they have not heard of him?

Everything that I have learned in this class so far has encouraged me a lot. It has brought an even great burning desire to want to go out to the mission field and share the word of God with those that do now know of Him. And it is bringing a more clear understanding of what it truly means to be a missionary. I am learning beyond the basic qualifications of a missionary. As I look and see the countries who do not know of God, it brings this sadness to me because when I think about it, over here in the United States we have it easy. We take it for granted that we can go to church and easily hear God's word or go around and share God's word. When in other countries they either aren't allowed to talk about God or just don't know about God. This mission's class has been a tremendous influence in my life already in this short little time.

All that information that I have learned already and continue to learn is going to help me be an extremely big influence on others. Or at least that is my prayer and I will strive my hardest. Because I feel that with all this that I am learning it is encouraging me to go out there into the nations and share God's love. And then those who do not know of Jesus will know him because I along with many others took our time to share with them. I am getting a clear understanding of what it is to be a true missionary, so then I will be able to be a better missionary when I go out to the field. I love this class a lot already because it honestly is getting me excited about missions. I am getting such a clear view; clear understanding of what it is to be a true missionary.

Order your who moved my cheese paper at affordable prices custom writing service/a>! After reading Who Moved My Cheese, I have determined that the four characters, two mice (Sniff & Scurry) and two little people (Hem & Haw), represent the simple and complex parts of ourselves. Sniff sniffs out change early, Scurry scurries into action, Hem denies and resists change as he fears it will lead to something worse, and Haw learns to adapt in time when he sees changing leads to something better. They are all parts of us. They resemble and belong to us. Sometimes I look like Sniff, walk like Scurry, talk like Hem, and work like Haw.

Foolish is Hem as he doesnt know what to do with an empty cheese station, and he stops looking for new cheese elsewhere, and wise are the two mice and Haw since they face the music, know how to have fun with change, and succeed in locating fresh cheese. Hapless Hem is hemmed in fear and destined to go extinct, while happy Haw travels beyond fear and will be distinguished. If the former is a prisoner of freedom and change, the latter is a player of liberty and transition.

My co-worker, Jason, reminds me of Hem because he hates change. Every time something doesn't go quite right he throws a temper tantrum, and refuses to continue his daily tasks. I find it impossible to work with him on those days, and it puts everyone else in a miserable mood. However, Krista is really good at handling any situation, and when things are changing she is always prepared. This type of attitude helps everyone else relax, and cope with change. In today's society, we need to be free as the wind and love change as much as possible.

In order to be an effective manager, the manager would have to act more like Sniff and Scurry. This would demonstrate the manager's ability to adapt to change quickly, and help the employees follow in this behavior. Its hard to change and stay productive without genuine enthusiasm. Having a strong team during change is also important. One common mistake is holding onto somebody who doesnt respond well to change. An effective manager will replace him with someone that adapts better during difficult situations.

Four out of Haws seven handwritten memos on the wall for his friend Hem catch my eyes

1) Change happens!

Continuous advances in technology and increasingly competitive markets have made organizational change routine. I have experienced constant change within my work place; it can be drastic so we all must stay prepared.

) Adapt to change quickly!

In our work place, there are two choices to make when change is occurring. We can either do nothing like Hem or learn to adapt to change like Haw. Doing nothing is a non-activity that goes along with statements such as if we wait long enough things will return to normal. Based on my experience with the organization, waiting a little longer to see if management is serious about a change might be the right thing to do. However, if the change is real, this strategy would not be very useful. As Haw found out, you can get mighty hungry waiting. However, if we know that things are changing around us in the workplace, we should adapt. Those with an ability to adapt quickly and make a commitment to the change have learned to find value in the new setting.

) Change! Move with the cheese!

4) Enjoy change!

Our highly competitive environment forces organizations into states of constant transition. The way to maintain personal equilibrium and manage stress is to treat change as normal and be prepared for it. Stay resilient and calm, recognize new opportunities and take advantage of them when they come.

There are many points at work where we realize that we are like the little humans in this story. We keep complaining about things and never attempt to move ahead and find solutions to on the job complications. Once we are in a comfortable position, we feel we are going to be there forever and we sometimes even go to weird limits to retain our position, forgetting that change is inevitable.

This story reminds me to accept the fact that change happens and favorable circumstances become unfavorable. We, human beings, cannot control change, but we should anticipate it and take the right steps to handle it positively. Whether we like it or not, change is not a choice, it is merely the way things are. To a great extent, this book helps relieve one of the fear and anxiety about managing the future. It effectively conveys how to deal with changing times providing us with a method for moving ahead with our professional and personal lives safely and effectively.

Bird Evolution

Birds are animals with very special features such as feathers, special lungs, and light body structures. Evolutionists believe that birds evolved from reptiles or maybe even a type of dinosaur.

Archaeopteryx is thought to be the first flying bird. Archaeopteryx has feathers like a bird but the skeleton of a small dinosaur. Archaeopteryx lived 150 million years ago and had many features of a reptile. Its fossil was found in 1861. Archaeopteryx had fully formed flying feathers, asymmetric vanes and ventral, reinforcing furrows as in modern birds. The classical elliptical wings of today's woodland birds, and a large wishbone for attachment of muscles responsible for down stroke of the wings.

In June of 18 two fossils were found in Northern China that are claimed to be feathered theropods. The fossils, Protarchaeopteryx robusta and Caudipteryxzoui are clamed to be the immediate ancestors of the first birds. The two latest finds are dated at 10 to 16 million years while Archaeopteryx, a true bird, is dated at 140 to 150 million years, making these birds ancestors far younger than their descendants.

Paleontologist Larry Martin, and Alan Feduccia a world authority on birds reject the idea that birds evolved from dinosaurs. They believe that birds evolved from small reptiles called crocodilomorphs. They say that these small crocodile like reptiles lived in trees and leaped from tree to tree and than glided from tree to tree and than eventually start to fly. This process took many millions of years.

A man named Richard Dawkins says that feathers are modified reptilian scales. But I thought that scales were folds in the skin and feathers were complex structures with barb, barbules, and hooks. But for scales to have evolved into feathers means that a singnificant amount of genetic information had to arise in the bird's DNA which present in that of its alleged reptile ancestor.

What I think is that gliders did eventually turn into flyer because of survival reasons. Maybe because they need to get higher away from a praetor or maybe transportation reasons. I guess that man may never know where these beautiful creatures came from.
